Security & licensing
Your data stays yours. Your licence stays simple.
What you own, what we do, and what happens if a plan isn't renewed, in plain language.
Your data
- You own your data. What you and your agents put into Jack belongs to your company. Our terms say so.
- Kept apart. Each customer's data is isolated from every other customer's.
- Your AI plan, your keys. Jack runs on the AI subscription you bring. We don't resell tokens.
- You approve what matters. When an agent wants to act, you choose: Allow once, Always or Deny.
- On your own server (coming), your data doesn't have to leave your office.
Licensing in plain language
Today Agent Jack is an invite-only beta. When plans open, licensing works like this:
- Every Jack is licensed by us, in our cloud, on your server or on your desktop.
- Plans renew. While your plan is active, Jack renews its licence with us automatically and gets our updates.
- Offline for a while is fine. Jack keeps working for up to 30 days without reaching us. After that it locks until it reconnects; reconnecting is enough.
- There's a 30-day grace period. If a plan isn't renewed on time, Jack keeps working for 30 days and shows how many days are left.
- After the grace period: a Personal plan drops to Free, and your extra agents and cloud data are locked until you renew. A Team or Business Jack stops working until the licence is renewed; members can keep a Free personal seat, which never shows company data.
- Renewing turns everything back on.
